Wow, a Negative Reverie update and on my birthday, no less.
Remember this from last week:

WELL, I did, in fact, mostly take the week off to study and practice guitar and played a little FF7 Remake, too. It was worth it.
I probably oughta get back to gamedev, though....
Work continues on Chapter 10's tileset.
The general vibe of the area is "Bay Area Mansion", so I've been doing a lot of research and looking at Zillow postings to make it look correct, lmao.
LET ME IIIIIIIN!I also got super distracted from making tiles to make a bouncing "DVD" style logo on the interior TV.
Ooooo it's gonna hit the corner!!!...aaaaand that's it. :)
Studying.
I took several JLPT N4 practice quizzes yesterday and the results were.... humbling, to say the least. It's not lookin' good for ya boy.
THAT'S OK, THOUGH! I've been spending most of my time actually playing and reading things in Japanese rather than actually studying grammar, so I'm just gonna adjust my focus a little bit and actually studying grammar points in a textbook format. NBD!
To commemorate finally finishing Yuru Camp Vol. 2, I tried to draw Nadeshiko and Rin, but they're so hard to draw! We're still playing Bitgen Gamer Fest XX in Baltimore, MD on August 1st!!! We got a CHOICE time slot... 7:25 on the big stage downstairs! Holy schmoly! Def come hang out and take in some shred, if you're able to!
I watched the new Ghost in the Shell with my gf on Saturday. It's good. I recommend it. The perfect blend of cartoony visuals and DENSE dialogue.
OK, that's it. Go home! MUAH! <3
See y'all next week!
