Oops.
I completely messed my sleep schedule up through multiple weeks of working at night but playing shows during the day and now I never have enough energy to do anything….
…and to THINK! I was doing so well for a month or two, there…. >:T
Ain’t that just the way, though.
I suppose it’s time to do the only thing there is to be done and just stay up for 25 hours, go to bed at my regular night-shift time and then LOCK BACK IN, BABY! So, yeah, that’s basically my long way of saying that I didn’t get any real work done the last two weeks. Sorry.
SO, WHAT DID I DO, THEN?
I beat Tales of Phantasia, finally. A 10/10 experience. I can’t believe I’ve never played it, honestly. I spent my teens and twenties playing ALL the legendary RPGs and it slipped by me somehow. Playing it really felt like discovering a lost classic… even though I know it’s well-known among JRPG fans. I also beat it in Japanese, so that was a fun challenge. Next up is either the first Wild Arms or Seiken Densetsu for the Gameboy (I started them both… one for TV time and one on the Switch for bed time).
Also, I finally, ACTUALLY started making my website.
I’ve always heard about WordPress being THE tool for making blog-based websites, so I decided to give it a try. At first, I was thinking I’d spend time coding up a fancy javascript site from the ground up, but after farting around with it for a few days I said, “I need to work on my GAME, not on this stupid website” and settled for WordPress. I do like it, though. It’s a little crammed with “LET AI MAKE THIS FOR YOU” buttons at the moment, but the actual tools are still pretty intuitive and it’s easy enough to add CSS to various blocks on the page. My eventual goal is to have the site host duplicates of every post I make here, so people who don’t have a Patreon can read the devlogs there….

I didn’t do a lot, other than trying to fix my sleep schedule and failing. This week is MY WEEK, though! I’m starting with THIS VERY POST and then moving on to bigger and better things.

My homie Minasheep finally released their game Sealed Fortress! I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while, so I’m stoked to finally start playing it! Maybe I’ll do that tonight….
The art style is INCREDIBLE, so I highly recommend checking it out!
